Pulling on the Glitz - Our new shop

This is the main shop floor, looking towards the back of the unit. The double doors on the left lead into the smaller of the two classrooms, the door on the right leads into the kitchen/toilet area. The stairs lead up to a mezzanine floor which will be used for storage only, so have been blocked off.

This was the first time the majority of the staff viewed the new unit. It was January 2005, and there was no electricity, it was cold and dark, and we hadn't got planning permission granted yet... What a difference 5 months makes - the majority of the building/conversion work was done, the suspended ceiling was in place, we had lights and heating, and the phone lines were going in!
